After waking to the sound of Steve shouting
” there’s a rabbit in the veggie patch!!” We all decided something must be doneĀ to protect our precious cabbages.
So a family meeting was called and we got straight to work on this Scare crow.
The theory is…………. if they can scare crows then why not rabbits?
Luckily no real damage was done this morning, but just incase rabbits don’t scare so easily, we went for it and finally finished our rabbit fence.
We love our veggies!
Hope you all had a great Sunday

Great idea! I wonder if this would work with squirrels? They eat all my birdseed!
Good luck!

I just became a vegetarian, no oil, no dairy. I hope to get very healthy and lose some weight. I heard about this Dr. Esselstein, if you farm and love your veggies you may want to go to http://www.billiebest.com, a great story about how she was fired from her corporate job and started farming from scratch. You can download her book free!! On just read it on line.

I need to keep the rabbits out of my very small tomato, pepper and herb garden. The heavy duty rains (almost like tornado) Friday didn’t help. I didn’t get to planting until about 3 weeks ago. We drove to Lawrence Kansas and the farmers have alot of water standing in the fields. Terrible
